Home Textiles in China

Textiles Intelligence readers are invited to take advantage of a special VIP Buyer Programme for the upcoming Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles trade fair.
The fair will take place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai during August 24-27, and will feature around 1,400 exhibitors from some 30 countries and regions, showcasing the entire spectrum of home textile products.
As those of you who subscribe to Home Textiles Update will know, products at the fair will be presented in the categories of bedding and towelling, carpets and rugs, curtains, upholstery, and wallcoverings. Also, a variety of non-textile home products will be exhibited.
According to Messe Frankfurt Hong Kong, the domestic home textiles market in China is performing well, despite slow economic growth in the country overall. There has been an increase in home renovation projects in China and this, in turn, has created sales opportunities for producers of home textiles. Furthermore, there has been an increase in demand among Chinese consumers for high quality and luxury home products and for personalised home décor products—including digitally printed products.
The VIP Buyer Programme, open to eligible trade buyers, includes:

4 nights' free accommodation at a 4-star hotel
Tailor-made exhibitor list with pre-arranged meetings
Welcome tour of the fairground
Access to VIP Lounge
Admission to fair's networking event
Factory visit to nearby upholstery manufacturers (optional)
Sightseeing tour of Shanghai (optional)
Assistance with visa application
